Gerald Stephan "Jerry" Fox died on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  He was born on  February 10, 1942, in Cleveland, OH to the late Albert Clayton and Margaret Kurtz Fox.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.  He loved his family, British motorcycles and shag dancing.

Surviving are his three sons, Chriss Fox and his wife Wanda Sue of Bessemer City, NC, Dan Fox of Tampa, Fl, and Gene Fox, of Mount Holly, NC, three grandchildren, Stephana, Michele and C.J.; and two great-grandchildren, Reggie and Kailey.

He was buried with military honors at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jerry's name to the National Kidney Foundation, 620 Montana Drive, Charlotte, NC  28216, which Jerry donated to regularly or to the SPCA/Gaston Humane Society, 114 Sherrill Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052, as he loved animals so much.
