David C. Galbraith, 79 of Homerville, Ohio passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Lifecare Hospice in Wooster, following a lengthy illness.   He was born October 1, 1942 in Cleveland to the late William and Anna Mae (Roberts) Galbraith.  David grew up in Hinckley and graduated from Highland High School in 1960.He entered trade school to become an electrician, leading to a career that spanned 60 years.In 2021 he was honored by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, in which he was a member of Local 38, for his 60 years of service.  David also enjoyed working his horse farm where he raised, showed and raced his horses.  He was a member of Farm Bureau, Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners, and New Horizons Lutheran Church. David was also an avid motorcyclist.   Surviving is his wife Donna, to whom he was married to for 40 years; children, Pamela and Laurie;  several grandchildren, and his brother Michael (April) Galbraith.  Visitation will be Monday, March 28, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH. His funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29, at 11:00 AM, at New Horizons Lutheran Church, 8439 River Corners Rd., Homerville, OH.  Vicar Judy Carbone will officiate.Burial will follow at East Homer Cemetery.
