William "Bill" D. Miller, 74 years young, of Crestline, was taken home by the Angels to be with the Lord on October 11, 2015.  Born February 12, 1941 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Charles and Evelyn Miller. A veteran of the Air Force, Bill served as Military Police. Reading was his favorite hobby and he always had a book in hand. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, doing puzzles, and watching football, especially the New England Patriots. Bill loved attending church and was a member of Wayside Mission. Surviving are his wife, June Miller; sons, Doug Miller and Jimmy Miller; step-daughter, Barbara Sullinger; step-son, Terry Cole; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie Miller and Bobby Miller; and sister, Carol Miller. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Miller.  A private family service will be held. Burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Home.

Bill’s sister, Carol Miller Scott, added these words about her beloved brother:
 
“Bill was my oldest brother and a kind, loving husband and father. He had lung cancer in both lungs but died of an aneurysm. He was doing fine with his chemo and radiation treatments but couldn't get past the aneurysm. My family will miss him terribly.”
